This week we have been learning about feet. We read 'The Foot Book' by Dr Seuss. We learnt about adjectives. Adjectives tell us more about something. For example: furry feet. The word furry tells us what the feet look and feel like.
We also measured our feet. We used counters, Unifix and sticks to measure the length of our feet. Husna and Ally's feet are the longest. Maimuna and Salim's feet are the shortest. Who has the longest and shortest feet in your grade?

We also learnt about centimetres. We learnt that the symbol for centimetres is cm. For homework we traced the feet out our family. At school we measured the length of our family's feet with rulers. Some were really long and some were really short. Adam's baby brother's foot was tiny, only 6cm long. Salim and his brother had the same sized foot. Who has the longest foot in your family?
